ABOUT

We are Adrianna, Maria and Shivani, three Electrical Engineering students, working on the final project for our class, Digital Signal Processing (EECS 351) at the University of Michigan during the Fall of 2016.

ABSTRACT

Plant species require different sunlight duration, sunlight intensity, and temperature ranges to survive. To determine optimum placement of a plant in a room for healthy development, our team will capture color and infrared frames of data throughout the day and utilize Matlab DSP tools to process and interpret the data. Based on analysis of the data collected, the placement of three plant species will be recommended.
